It's based on a novel by Dean Koontz and features Willem Dafoe as a police chief. This film is definitely worth watching.

Oh I still love King's work and certainly the fact that so many of his novels have been made into movies or TV series, "The Stand" readily comes to mind, but Koontz writing, at least for me, contained so many nuggets of truth about things we just didn't yet have full knowledge of, that at times it didn't exactly feel like fiction. It's not easy to explain but if you're curious a few of his novels that convey this sense are "Dark Rivers of the Heart", "Sole Survivor" and "Seize The Night".I love them both, but think King is a better writer.
"Haven" is a really good series spun from several of Stephen King's characters, I believe "The Colorado Kid"It's based on a novel by Dean Koontz and features Willem Dafoe as a police chief. This film is definitely worth watching.
