1) No idea. Want to listen to the hearings. I do not know a lot about him. Didn’t realize he was even a lawyer. I am open minded but I am not blindly supporting him.

The Senate will have a GOP majority and the GOP will vote however Trump orders them to. The GOP members who had some sense of moral fiber and patriotism like John McCain are all dead or were voted out. The GOP is now the party of Trump.

Only a simple majority is needed to confirm nominations. And you will be hard pressed to find any GOP Senators who are not either Trumpers themselves or who would be willing to vote against his wishes
