We mostly have Gators. There are some Crocs. I saw a salt water croc in a canal when I lived in the Keys. That was UNSETTLING.

It was about a 6 footer, not too big, but it was just swimming down the canal in a residential area where people keep their boats.

One should assume every body of water that is not ocean or bay in Florida has alligators. They usually do not **** with you, I have skied right by alligators many times on the Suwannee river.
