“The View” co-host Joy Behar suggested Thursday that people who vote for former President Donald Trump are not true Christians.

“I’m a Christian, and I can assure you, I’m not voting for him,” co-host Sara Haines said.

“I know that about you. I don’t think anyone at this panel are voting for him, but they’re out there. It just seems ironic that he’s broken every law of every commandment, and they think he’s the one to vote for. What is the matter with everybody?” Behar added.

God chastised the Hebrew people for demanding a human king in 1 Samuel 8. Before, that, all they had were judges

God warned them of the abuses of being governed by a sinful man, but they would not listen, so God gave them what the asked for.

Guess who the best king was? It was king David. And guess what he did? He lied, committed adultery, and had the husband murdered to hide it. That was the best possible ruler God could scrap up that was a man.

And guess what, God did not take him off his throne because he could do no better.

Do I care that he may have broken commandments? As long as he didn't break them that resulted in harming the country then no I do not care about his personal life. He hasn't murdered anyone, sold drugs, had sex with a kid or any other heinous crime so I don't care.

What I care about are his stats as president. Does he have American morals, values and standards? Does he want to make America strong, smart, capable, and independent? What he does as president is what I care about.

And unless she has never committed a sin she has no room to judge trump. And I don't believe she is a Christian, she only brings it up when she wants to use it as a weapon, but the rest of the time it never comes up.

I disagree that personal character can be separated from a person's public life. If someone can lie and cheat on the (arguably) most important person in their life, what makes you think they wouldn't do that to you, some Joe Schmo they don't even know? Integrity isn't divided into parts, that's not the way it works. It's about having principles in ALL aspects of life. I said the same thing when Clinton was in power and the Dems said the very same things that Republicans are now saying.
