They showed one of his films and then a string of interviews after it. They do it with a lot of actors.
I quite enjoy his films which are easy to watch. But this was quite dark stuff that delved into his idiot political views.
I know he is seen as a hero in the US but heroes should be able to express themselves clearly. He riffed on civil rights and womens lib but not on his white supremacy beliefs.
I dont think he is deserving of any recognition at all. He is part of america that needs rejecting. I understand that Ben Johnson hated him.

I'm sure he was far from perfect. I might even predict that he could have very well been an arrogant person. But I wouldn't put any more faith in his political opinions than I would in Robert DeNiro's, Rosie O'Donnell's or Bruce Springsteen's. Wayne was a great actor who ended up getting his ass kicked by cigarettes. That's all. But I do have a friend who still hates Bruce Dern to this day for killing JW in that movie "The Cowboys". Pretty crazy.

Springsteen is a decemt person though. Wayne wasnt. He thinks black people are less than white. Thats just shit. I will grant you that he wasnt too bright and his thoughts were jumbled. But there is an airport named after him in the US.

Actually he was likely killed by the radioactive fallout from a nuke test when they were filming downwind of the test site. Lots of crew likewise died years afterwards.

The left's heroes are all mass murdering dictators: Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Hitler, Castro, Putin, Ceausescu, Maduro, Arafat, etc.

Springsteen is an arrogant SOB, when I met him a long time he was arrogant and rude, but that was just my encounter.

I don’t listen to music, watch movies based the person, if I did, I probably could listen to any music or watch any movies because most in the entertainment world are clueless, nuts that believe their opinion is better than anyone else’s.

Springsteen is a drunk driver and a scumbag.

Looking for perfection? Will not find in this or any other life.
