Joe Rogan gives context and clarity to the Hinchcliff bit

Yep. It was a real "Get Out The Vote" moment, and Trump did not immediately or ever rebuke his hired comic with jokes on the teleprompter. He inspired a lot of Puerto Ricans, Latinos, and Hispanics to get out and vote. Motivating them to vote against him, that is.

Would it have mattered? The left would have spun it no matter what. And if Trump came out and apologized, the left would have said “see! He knew it all along, he knew the jokes were there, he’s responsible”.

The fact that he didn’t rebuke it makes little difference in the grand scheme of things. The left would have still made hay out of it.

Strange how noobdy in Trump's orbit ever "doesn't land" saying something non-racist or inclusive.

Because this guy is a particular type of comedian. Obviously not the right kind of joke for a political rally, but certainly not any worse than many other “roast” type jokes.

Funny how nobody gets upset when someone makes a joke about white people, they just laugh it off, even if it’s said by a black or Hispanic person. Nobody gets riled up about that. Why is that?

I think hinchcliffe made a joke, but wasn’t trying to make an insult.

Do people actually manage to watch it for more than 20 seconds?

Must have a high tolerance level for complete dicks.
I would imagine people who want another point of view besides the doom and gloom all hate story pushed by the left.

Did it ever cross your mind that it was just a badly placed joke? Would it ever cross your mind? Or are you of the sort that thinks there is no other explanation but your explanation ?

If he had walked on his stage at his rally and rebuked and disavowed agreement and support for the comic speaker, would have helped him. But, no. Putting down, denigrating and dividing based on bigotry is part and parcel to trumpian politics and humor to him. This is not new, but same as he always has been.

So the crack about black people and carving watermelons wasn't supposed to be insulting?

He is responsible for what happens on stage at his rally, right?

Of course it was. Execrable placement. Pushed, in my opinion by the Trump sons' desire to have a voice by using whiny bros who sound like them. People like Vance, like Rogan and his guests.

Hinchcliffe was hired to punch down because punching down is funny to that circle. The cruelty is the point.

Everyone got that point.

I think there are some good points in this. At the end of the day, what the comedian said was a bit, and it didn’t land, but it was just a bit.

Rogan explains.

It's too late

LOL my goodness. So what about the cruelty of a sitting president of the democrat party condemning all of his opponents supporters?

Or does your shock and horror end with when a comedian jokes about another country’s known ecological issues?

Seriously, if you hold this standard in your life, I don’t think you’d be able to watch many movies or TV.. you’d get too offended. I’d avoid any PG-13 movies if I were you

(Of course, I think we all know it’s just an act by you, and those on the left. You can give it up, nobody outside of your bubble is buying it.)

As usual……Trump waits too damned long to respond to crisis
He waits to see what the political fallout will be. If it is going against him, he gives a “maybe it is, maybe it isn’t” response

Then

Nobody loves Puerto Ricans more than me

Pure ignorance. You are one of the useful idiots the Democratic Party has indoctrinated with their rhetoric.

Democrats do NOTHING but divide. Identity politics is all they have. Every conversation I have with a liberal devolves into something they see as racial or sexist. It is so obvious that I have a hard time believing that so many are unable to see it.

Comedians tell jokes. Roasters are more edgy and say these kinds of things all the time and nobody cares. I will grant you that I wouldn’t have chosen this type of comedian for a political rally, particularly with thin skinned Democrats waiting to pounce on anything and everything, but the fact remains that it was just a joke told by a comedian.

Well, I’m sure the voters get it. If anything, I’d say the voters weren’t pissed by the joke, but probably by the head job that democrats did on them.

I think most people are smart enough to see that it was a joke, as Rogan explains why that is..it was a bit, and it was a bit based on a real issue that Puerto Rico has, which is overfull land fills
MAGA voters enjoy mocking Hispanics
Hispanic voters don’t get the joke

The guy was brought in to mock Democrats
Instead, he mocked voters

Right because Trump should be the Thought Police and immediately censor anything the Left deems offensive

At the end of the day, the Trump campaign hired a comedian known for tasteless racist material, and sat by while he attacked Puerto Ricans.

Trump nation loved it.

And they clearly know that this is going to cost them votes in several battleground states.

But one of Trump’s adoring flunkies thought they could concoct a successful counter narrative using a Biden gaffe.

But Trump in a garbage truck only reminds people of what was said at his MSG rally.

If you have any doubt about that, consider Joe Rogan here, trying to walk it back.

So, you have no meaningful response.

the backlash is obvious and widespread. And your excuse for that is that anyone who sees the obvious race baiting is somehow “indoctrinated”.

piss poor attempt at projection.
