Kamala Harris today was announced the new Wildfire Czar for the final weekend of the Biden administration. Kamala insisted that the transition team will lend support to the still uncontained wildfires raging in California by throwing billions of tax dollars mindlessly at the problem but added that the whole affair was conducted peacefully. Kamala then addressed the nation saying, "Fires, like the one raging behind me, are bad. No one likes a fire, unless you are really cold out there in the desert at night when it gets cold. Most people don't know that it gets cold in the desert, but it does. Cold desert climates usually feature hot (or warm in a few instances), dry summers, though summers are not typically as hot as hot desert climates. Unlike hot desert climates, cold desert climates tend to feature cold, dry winters. Snow tends to be rare in regions with this climate. And climate is the problem, or should I say climate change is the problem. That's why I'm introducing a bill to tax the oil companies a hundred gazillion, billion dollars because they are responsible for these fires. Now I don't want to concern the average citizen about these taxes as they will not pay for any of it. We will systematically take every dime from these corporations that fuel your cars and homes, and you won't pay one dime more because of it. That is why we have battery cars after all. All we need now are battery operated homes, which is why you should vote for me in 2028!"
