Instead of answering with the correct answer of "puberty", contestant Tom buzzed in quickly to say: "What is the age of consent?""

Woulda gotten it wrong too if only because 14 and 12 might be true of 'common law' but isn't true scientificly.

The clue is misleading.

It was. Onset of puberty is actually (in scientific circles) 9 to 11. High fat diets most typically cited as the reason.
