“I think you might suggest to putin that lavrov can get insight on talking to me,” Epstein wrote in a June 24, 2018, email to Thorbjorn Jagland, a former prime minister of Norway who was leading the Council of Europe at the time of the exchange. Lavrov was an apparent reference to Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s longtime foreign minister.


In the email exchange, one of hundreds released Wednesday by congressional investigators, Epstein indicated he had previously talked about Trump with Vitaly Churkin, Russia’s forceful ambassador to the United Nations, before Churkin died in 2017.


“Churkin was great,” Epstein, the late convicted sex offender, wrote. “He understood trump after our conversations. it is not complex. he must be seen to get something its that simple.”

The exchange was among dozens that showcase Epstein’s extraordinary network of international associates, whom he often corresponded with about Trump’s first-term policy decisions.

White House chief of staff Susie Wiles contradicted President Donald Trump’s efforts to tie former President Bill Clinton to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activity in a Vanity Fair profile published on Tuesday.

“The president was wrong about that,” Wiles said in a series of wide-ranging interviews over the last year that touched on topics including Elon Musk’s gutting of the United States Agency for International Development and Trump’s focus on ending international conflicts.

Wiles told Vanity Fair that “there is no evidence” that the visits to the island took place.

He's either not implicated in the evidence or has gotten the assurance that his name will be conspicuous by its absence. See, we can play this game too. I said when this first came out that the left was setting the stage to continue screeching Orange Man Bad whether TRUMP! was implicated or not, because they were already complaining that it had been scrubbed long before it was released.
