Jake Tapper misses his chance

I watched Jake Tapper ask some GOP governor an immigration question

and the governor stated that "ten million illegals entered the USA every month"
I may be wrong, he may have said every day.. if every day.. in one month
there would be 300 million illegals.. about the same as the total population of the USA

even if it was a month.. that would be 120 million a year.

why can;t these reporters be aware of lies like this?
