In a Republic, actually
Conservatives love embryos.

“They speak effusively about them in conversation, publicly revere them at rallies, shed crocodile tears over them in Op-Eds, accost strangers entering clinics over them, viciously troll people on social media because of them, and sermonize on street corners about them.

They even claim to have voted for a reprehensible monster who they'd never otherwise tolerate to lead them, solely on their behalf.

Republican people of faith regularly fall all over themselves, carry on wildly, and tear their garments in showy grief over embryos; unleashing all manner of histrionics at those they deem a danger (those who believe in a woman's right to have autonomy over her own body.)

And they do all of this (they claim), because they believe that embryos are human beings and they want those beloved in-utero human beings to be cherished, defended, and protected at all costs, which all sounds quite admirable were that the whole story—though it isn't.

The problem with their breathless, tearful zealotry, is that once these embryos are no longer embryos—these supposed life-lovers often don't treat them like they're at all human. Prior to departing the birth canal, they’re sacred. After that, they’re screwed.’

Overturning Roe had nothing to do with ‘saving babies’ – it was solely about more government, bigger government at the expense of individual liberty.

In fact, the conservative social agenda is hostile to children and families with children, the consequence of the right’s unwarranted opposition to access to affordable childcare, the right’s reckless, irresponsible cuts to Medicaid, and the right’s repeal of child labor laws.

Republicans are infamous for their hypocrisy.

The OP types lies like this without proof:

"In fact, the conservative social agenda is hostile to children and families with children, the consequence of the right’s unwarranted opposition to access to affordable childcare, the right’s reckless, irresponsible cuts to Medicaid, and the right’s repeal of child labor laws."

1. There are no cuts to Medicaid, just eliminating fraud.
2. Democrats want kids to "groom", or kids to watch "drag shows", or kids to read "Gender Queer" or other such deviant books.
3. Democrats don't want to show kids patriotism, traditional values, religion, and respect for the law and policemen.
4. There is no repeal of child labor laws, duh.

so are you jones......

We aren’t pro-life. We’re anti-abortion. The difference is far more than semantics. We believe that the CHOICE a man and woman make regarding pregnancy comes when they choose to have sex. Consent to sex is consent to parenthood in our minds. That’s why our sole exception for abortion is rape… a situation where one side did not consent to the act.

After birth the responsibility for the child rests solely on the parents. Maybe instead of aborting these babies people should be working to ensure they’re never conceived in the first place… through ABSTINENCE.

Well said!

Why are the left trying to convince us that they are too stupid to understand this?

What on earth are you talking about. The fact that we don't want babies supported cradle to grave by Big Fat Govt means we hate babies?

You're on medication right?

Oh dear , Celia , deary me .

Was it your own childhood ?

I trust you were not molested or worse , but there is usually great trauma behind later depression and sadness .
Tell Aunty Luiza if you feel life is unfulfilling and if you need a metaphorical shoulder to hold and cry on .
So, to start ------
Forget these dreary and silly OPs ------- find lighter , general interest topics about others .
And excuse my boldness , but keep away from the alcohol.
Because you are doing a lot of dribbling

/---/ No. It means libtards struggle to justify killing babies, so they grasp at straws -- paper straws of course.

Dude. Look in the mirror.

I fully support the utility of abortion.....Espically in blue states/areas.....Better for everyone to nip dem leeches and future felons/welfare brood sows in the bud.

No shits given about "women's right to choose" either, they can make-up any excuse they want as long as they keep it up.

If dems want to place a planned parenthood abortion center on every street corner in their shithole cities then I'm all for it.

They are playing right into Margaret Sanger's hands so why should I oppose that?

Why do you say that? It was for generations, why can’t it be again? I know it’s the way my family, and many others teach their children and live their lives.
"what was---for generations" ? You think your family is the
MODEL FOR and OF ALL THE PEOPLE RESIDING IN THE USA?
I got news for you. ---but it would be nice if it were the way
it is for ALL. it ain't

The Left would build little showers, toy trains, and tiny ovens to kill babies, if that's what it took.

Not just generations of my family. Generations of society at large. Thousands of years. The accepted concept was… courting, then marriage, then procreation. Simple as thst

If you are under 15 years of age---I can understand your simple mindedness. Can you define "society" in your remarkably limited POV

.

Still is in my small, clean, quiet, safe, Midwest farming town.

I just went to pray the Stations of the Cross at my church Wednesday, and it was PACKED, which for my small town is 300 people, full of children from about 6 to those ready to graduate from high school who, judging from the knowledge and skill which they displayed of a fairly involved prayer, are well on their way to Catholic marriage.

It's beautiful to see. Lots of big Catholic families coming.

Oh, BTW, it's illegal to murder unborn children in my state.

Winning!
