Rudy Giuliani is now paying the piper for his lies to help trump. He has been disbarred. He faces charges in several states and now it's time to start paying Freeman and Moss.

This is somewhat interesting.

Rudy Giuliani made public remarks about the activities of a couple of poll workers who were filmed moving boxes around in a very suspicious manner. It certainly looked like they were "up to something."

They sued him for defamation, though they suffered no damages. They got a few harassing phone calls, but they had no economic losses, were never actually accosted or assaulted...in short, they suffered no damages.

America's mayor was prevented from mounting any defense at trial. As "we" all know, TRUTH is an affirmative defense, and totally defeats a charge of defamation.

As with the Trump slander trial in New York it was held in a jurisdiction with an average IQ in the mid-2 digits, by a totally compromised judge whose actions in a real State would have got him removed from the bench, if not disbarred.

One can only hope that this order and the total case can be appealed to a higher level court - one with adults as judges perhaps.

Cases like this demonstrate the total corruption of the Left. Why are they not screaming about the injustice, the preposterous award of damages, the bullshit in the trial itself?

The reason should be obvious.

I suppose all that might be true, but more likely it is exactly as it looks. Rudy defamed a couple of innocent women, and it came back to bite him in the ass.

In what the rest of us call reality, Rudy played a video of them and claimed they were handling suitcases of fake ballots. He named them by name.

Then he did it again.

Then he lied about them again on the courthouse steps, after losing.

These are lies that led to death threats.

Now Rudy pays. As he should.

The reality is that even if Rudy was wrong about the two poll workers (and even if he lied, knowing it was a lie) the measure of “damages” awarded is completely absurd and quite baseless.

Winning a lawsuit isn’t supposed to be like winning powerball.

A smaller judgement would not give rudy any reason to think about what he had done next time. I'm pretty sure he will consider the consequences before he does the same thing again.

Maybe he was getting threats? Oh, wait, it was Freeman and Moss, the winning plaintiffs who faced those threats and people banging on the front door and had to call cops multiple times.
