Zone1 It's pretty obvious that the major cities and even some states are promoting chaos.

I know what they are doing, which is to allow and encourage criminal behavior, fear and loathing among the citizens, and going into massive public debt, and allowing illegals to take over the government. I know how they are doing it, by not supporting police and prosecutors, victim blaming and non-reporting, stealing and wasting funds, and protecting illegals from accountability. What I can't figure out is why they are doing it. Mere stupidity can't explain it. Corruption plays a part of course, but there are easier ways to siphon taxpayer funds. I find it hard to believe that these so-called leaders have that much love of 'freedom' that could make them behave like this. There has to be an underlying common motive here and I suspect it is home grown, and we have no one who wants to lift that scab and look.

The Founding Fathers stated that only a moral people can be free

John Adams: 'Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.'

Ben Franklin also had this to say about the Constitution.

“In these sentiments, Sir, I agree to this Constitution, with all its faults, if they are such; because I think a General Government necessary for us, and there is no form of government, but what may be a blessing to the people if well administered; and believe further, that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic government.”

And Ben was not even a religious man, but he understood the importance of religion in maintaining a civil society.

That is why the Left is targeting the moral fiber of the nation and any institutions that may help preserve it. It is because they inherently know that if you destroy the moral fabric of society, the only way to maintain a civil society that has the morality of a prison cell is for the state to build a wall around them and hire a warden, which would be a true police state. If people cannot regulate their own moral actions, the state is more than willing to do it for them.

Think about a jail cell. It is the perfect Left-wing utopia. Food, shelter, cloths, it is all "free". And it is one large no gun zone as they make sure you use plastic forks to eat with, so you won't stab each other. But the best part is, every day is gay pride day in the jail cell.

That is the Left-wing utopia they all long for.

No, we are not descending into chaos because of Librals

Long-Term Trend: Roughly a 50% Reduction
  • In the early 1990s (around 1991), the violent crime rate peaked at 758 per 100,000 people. By 2022, it had dropped to about 370 per 100,000—a reduction of more than 50%.
  • A study from the Brennan Center at NYU confirms this overall trend: violent crime has fallen by about half since its peak in the early 1990s.
Recent Decade: Continued Decline Despite a Pandemic Spike
  • Violent crime rose sharply during the early pandemic years—especially in 2020. However, by 2022, the rate had declined back to or even below pre-pandemic levels.
  • According to USAFacts, in 2023, the violent crime rate was roughly 364 per 100,000 people, marking a 3.5% decrease from the year prior.
2024: Another Year of Decline
  • The FBI reported that in 2024, violent crime in the U.S. dropped 4.5%, including a nearly 15% decline in homicides, reaching some of the lowest levels in nearly a decade.

What does that have to do with violent crime being down almost 50 percent?

Stop spreading lies.

Reporting is down.

What are the social program agendas pay out from the taxpayers from then to now? How much more can the strapped taxpayer take? The fed government sees cracks in the social program's effectiveness. A Prog politician is pushing social security to e totally tax free. That means there are some problems growing for the aged even after the tax reduction package from recent Republican legislation as an example.

Hard to hide murders which are way down

Comer Demands Transparency from FBI About Quietly …

In 2023, the FBI released its annual Crime in the Nation report, showing an estimated 1.7 percent decrease in violent crime in 2022. The Biden-Harris Administration championed the purported decrease, but there was no decrease. The FBI failed to include in its initial count “an additional 1,699 murders, 7,780 rapes, 33,459 robberies, and 37,091 aggravated assaults,” resulting in not a decrease but an increase in violent crime of 4.5 percent in 2022. The FBI quietly revised the report to reflect this increase in violent crime but did not publicize it.
