When does the sun come up for you, in your region, this time of year?

I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR, and the early sunrise where I am at. I think in Fla where my family is, the sun rises at 6:20 am. We are so much earlier!

Good morning! I'm on the far western edge of the EST, and our sunrise hits the earliest just before 6 AM. At solstice and thereabouts, our latest sunset is 9:15 ish though, which I think is too late.

The EST extends too far west, IMO. If you look at the other time zones, we're much broader east to west.

That said, early sunrises are my FAVE part of summer! Hate it when the sun doesn't rise until after 8 AM

5:50 here. You can see much earlier than that (5:18) because it takes a while for the sun to clear the mountains to the east of me.

This time of year it does not much matter but being a hunter I prefer daylight to be an hour later like in the Fall.

Its about the same here, on the western edge of Pennsylvania adjacent to Ohio.

Always makes me wonder if its healthier to be on the western or eastern edge of time zone. Do Mainites have a better situation than Upper Michiganites?
