It is a difficult situation as you don't want to over-litigate or you will become a Police state of obedient, drones of boot lickers. If you don't hold people accountable, especially the powerful; then you lose accountability with the masses. You need to find a balance, on the surface just based on voting consistently and the general philosophy of the area, D.C seems skewed in one direction and some counter opinions and ideology would be a healthy addition

Yeah...electing a 34X convicted felon probably doesn't make anyone serving on a jury feel particularly useful when it comes to law enforcement. Now if the blob were behind bars where he belongs...we could probably get back to belief in justice.

If he is your fall guy, you are going to have to accept greater scrutiny of politicians you may support. How many politicians todwy are worth 10s of millions of dollars after working 20 years as a politican? The majprity of the time a politician raises my ire is if they are engaged in corruption, policies are the key concept of agreement of disagreement. I think Trumps D.C police takeover will give oxygen to the Dems and is probably a mistake politically, I hope he only uses it for 30 days which would at the very least wake up local police to any shortcomings they have shown. However, that doesn't make him corrupt, it's a policy debate. Bidens open border and I.R.A I thought were destructive and it grestly decreased his palatability. Those are policy prescriptions. If he was corrupt, that's an entire different ball of wax.

Of course it will be hard to indict a liberal in DC. Most of the people on the grand jury will be out of work drug dealers, car jackers, rapists and burglars, thanks to the Great Donald Trump's crime crackdown.

She was over charged by our govt. The crime they charged her with is NOT meant for an incident like this....and thank the good Lord, the Grand jury has their heads screwed ON and could see this....!!!!

Washington DC is more than 90% Democrat and, as closely as I can ascertain, populated with mostly highly partisan radical Democrats. Finding an impartial, honest jury is pretty impossible there.

Which is why off the beaten paths in tourist areas, the city is mostly a dangerous hellhole.

And any prosecutor who wants a fair chance at actual justice will seek a change of venue.

Actually some of that is happening. Kash Patel is disbursing a lot of FBI agents to other locales across the country. We should see more service field offices for things like Social Security and such.

We won't do it of course, but the nation's capitol should be relocated to Kansas or Missouri, a much more central location.

But trials in Washington DC are pretty much impossible to do with any sense of justice and fair play.
