My oldest granddaughter is a 7th grade cheeleader. My wife and I went to 2 games yesterday afternoon to watch them and her cheer. We took her for a quick dinner afterwards. By the time we got home it was 8pm-ish. I changed clothes and plopped into my recliner and promptly dozed off. Totally missed the debate and post-debate spin. I woke up about midnight. I decided to peek into USMB before looking anywhere else last night for post-debate news. What I saw from the right-leaners was mostly posts about biased moderators, biased ABC, Kamala got all the debate questions beforehand etc.etc. This morning I see this:

That pretty much tells me how the debate went.

Those earrings/earbuds do not exist yet. you have again been duped by social media.

Smarten up.

An online search for the Nova H1 Audi Earrings shows that they do not currently appear to be on sale anywhere, and NOVA Products' website redirects to another company, Icebach Sound Solutions.

Additionally, backers on crowdfunding site Kickstarter have left messages from over a year ago asking for delivery status of their purchased H1 earrings that supposedly never materialized. NOVA Products' last login to Kickstarter was in May 2023.

What are Nova H1 Audio Earrings? Kamala Harris conspiracy spreads online

A conspiracy theory says Harris was wearing hidden earphones disguised as pearl earrings in the presidential debate.

Which set of lies make you feel best? ... because everyone likes to hear sweet little lies ...
Who won the debate in your opinion? I didn't watch it and haven't watched any video out-takes yet.

I haven't been duped. RedStateNation is a kook site.

Everyone is commenting on ABC fact checking Trump wrongly I might add... and they let her lie all night long... but Trump went on knowing this but wasn't ready for it for some reason...

If one doesn't plan to lie, one need not be concerned with fact-checking.

Several times it was the moderator who was wrong...
Like when he said the FBI says violent crime is down that's just not true... the way they categorize crime has changed...

Okay. I didn't watch, so I can't dispute that.

The most striking moment in my opinion was when on the immigration bit, he went on an "illegal immigrants are eating people's cats" rant. Was fact-checked by the moderator who contacted the city in question, and he said he "saw it on tv."

This for several reasons. One, how bizarre is it that a moderator of a presidential debate was prepared and felt the need to hunt down a cuckoo conspiracy theory because there was a good chance one of the candidates would bring it up. Two, how bizarre is it that a presidential candidate doesn't understand that using a crazy story like that, the kind of story your crazy uncle tells at a wedding when he's deep in his cups, is probably a bad look. Third and last, how bizarre is it that someone who's supposed to sell himself to be president, literally defends this crazy story by saying he believes it because he saw it on tv.

It's one thing to lie and embellish. It's another to lie about something preposterous on a live televised debate.

And for those who like to blame the moderators. Nobody forced him to bring it up. He made the choice to do so.

I think I saw a shouting Erick Erickson X or InstaGram post about that. He was appalled.

Here it is:

There's nothing wrong with a nice juicy main coon once in a while. Adds protein.

Kind of par for the course, and again quite bizarre. Instead of coming away with the conclusion. A candidate who's so gullible he believes every crazy thing he sees on tv might not be a good choice for president. This character concludes. How dare the media come up with crazy stories that my preferred candidate is believing. Like the ability to distinguish between fact and fiction isn't a prerequisite for the job he's applying for, and it's everybody else's responsibility to ground him in reality.

I didn't watch and I'm not paying any attention to liberal media's opinion ...

Nikki Haley's looking better than ever ...
