Yet, in most states with republican governors they are putting in place laws that will take the vote away from minorities, college students, and the elderly. They hide this theft behind a curtain of working to curtail voter fraud but when asked to prove voter fraud exists they have little to no proof.
Further, republicans clearly do not approve of a government "... for the people...." If they did approve of government for the people they would work toward getting ALL Americans health care. They would work toward making sure no Americans would go to bed hungry. And finally, the would work to reward veterans for all their sacrifices.
Why anyone would want to be a member of this sick group of anti-American liars and cheats I do not know. I sometimes think that republicans are God's curse on America.

Ideally, everyone does their part and we all chip in to have things, like fire depts., that benefit us all.

In reality, not everyone does their part and more and more some are placing additional burden on the other members of society by continuing to have more kids out of wedlock and disrespecting society in general. Government takes more and more from the same people to keep things going. It sucks.

You are going with the lame talking points about minorities being unable to obtain ID because they are just so stupid and helpless.

Helping legitimate citizens get a photo ID is fairly simple, might even be easier than finding them and registering them to vote, the way ACORN does.

Our founding fathers believed that people would cherish the opportunity to be free and to make a good life for themselves. They came from countries that were the opposite of us. Now, so many take our freedoms for granted and the left does everything in their power to make us more like the countries our forefathers ran from. Sadly, there will be no place left to run.

Government has tried to help raise our children by making more rules in schools and everywhere else. They have stolen money to take care of children, as they seek to replace real fathers. It's gotten us higher drop out rates, higher crime, increased drug use, more gangs, more people in poverty and a dumbed down population. Politicians lie, cheat, spin and otherwise are full of bullshit. Hardly a good role model for any child.

The Republicans want to restrict voting to the maximum extent possible. But more troubling is Lincoln's concept of a Government for the people. Republicans on ths board fight it on a daily basis. The Government has no Constitutional right to do things FOR the people. It is what Republicans call socialism

You are trying to solve a problem that does not exist and in the process taking the vote away from those who will have a difficult time obtaining the necessary I.D.

Many of those who lost insurance lost it because it was "garbage insurance." It was an illusion. It covered almost nothing and left people with huge bills which they were unable to pay. It was worse the nothing. How terrible is it to try to get people to have decent insurance that really protects them rather than giving the illusion of protecting them.

Read the Preamble of the Constitution and than ask yourself what does it mean when it says "...to promote the general welfare ...."
