It is snowing where I am

Not unusual for Portland in December. We had a record year for snow last year though. Worst winter since 1980, but that was the year of mt St. Helens. Right now is supposed to be the time of Global Warming.


I am only mildly grumpy, as I am using electric heat, and my bill last month was a horror.

But it sure is nice watching it snow, frosting the rooftops, while I sit here with my peppermint flavored hot chocolate.

Here, too. Second time since Christmas eve. Very rare for the Dallas area. It is beautiful.

About three inchs where I am at. Just got back from fixing my sister-in-laws sink right after work. Wet, slick snow, not good for driving at all. Supposed to start raining in three hours or so. Probably all be gone by morning.
