The blues, the music of a true prophet of God.

Yeah, that's pretty good.
If you think about it, the life of a prophet in the Bible was a hard one.

Essentially, if God calls up a prophet, the reasons are not good, as people have lost their way and on the road to destruction as a society.

You then are sent out to be a voice in the wilderness, usually by yourself, telling people that their lifestyles are all wrong.

Then you sit back and wait to be Charlie Kirked by all the enraged loons.

Interestingly, the only successful prophet in the Bible seems to be Jonah. The irony there is, the people were not even Hebrew, and he hated them for how they treated Hebrews like himself.

Jonah then tried to run from his calling, because he wanted to see them all burn in the wrath of God, only to be swollowed by a whale, giving Jonah a gentle nudging to do his job, which he did later do.

Then after he called them to repentance, they did just that, much to his chagrin.

Hilarious.
