I stopped at a Home Depot in the ghetto here in SoCal on Friday, to my surprise I counted four Trump / MAGA hats in a store that wasn’t all that busy. I was wearing Trump gear here when you had to be armed to do so. Was this an isolated event or are you seeing TrumpMania around you?

I dunno...I don't live in the US anymore. But people here, though they didn't know a ton about the politics of the US, seemed to prefer Trump. I'm blessed to live in a country where, no matter what part of the country you're in, you won't be assaulted or lose your job for supporting an unpopular candidate.

Yeah, I'm seeing some that around me too, IMHO it's to be expected though, Americans love a good Cinderella story, and President Trump has one of the most compelling in a long time. He seems to be the new "King of cool", which is pretty wild when you think about it.

My wife and I were at a restaurant after work. There was a dude sitting with his wife. Big guy. Older, late 60s. Full red MAGA hat. I approached him, shook his hand and said “thank you”. He was very kind. No one said a word to him.

MAGA is now mainstream and cool and I in deep blue MA.
