Is there some kind of 'site-rip' app for discussion threads?

Any prog to extract just the text from a discussion site? Like if you wanted to save all your posts on a site to a single file or html page? Assume something's being used for porn site-rips for the image files, but is there something for posts that maybe includes which ever authors you specify, but excludes all the others?

Shouldn't. Just something that automatically goes to each page and saves the specified threads or user posts. Can do it manually but why do manually anything on a computer?
