Many big US cities have been shitholes for decades. The problem is, suburban America is seeing a sharp rise in shithole towns.

I live in New York. Upstate along the Hudson River there is a town named "Hudson" right on the river. Decades ago....a quaint and robust town...sprawling with textile mills. Fabulous architecture Hadn't been there since the 70's. Now I go back....most of the town is ghetto. You pass through and you realize you should be driving a fucking Bradley armoured unit. Potholes you could fish out of. Burned out buildings. Just beyond pathetic....but a base of power for the left here in NY.
