It is very dim
Very hard to find in the sky ; in fact , it’s the 49th dimmest star in the sky 🌌

It’s only sorta sorta North
It’s not even close to being due north

The Star is a fraud

Move to the southern hemisphere. Polaris won't be stalking you, reading your thoughts, and transmitting message from the CIA to you like it is on the right side up part of the planet.

Now if you want a real answer, the north star is slowly heading south in relation to the planet, but it is also dying so whichever creatures take over the planet after us may never know its charm and personality.

It's very easy to find, if you know how. I live in a big city, with lots of light pollution, and on any clear night, I can easily find it.
