The thread is about insults that democrats use, so I was working with that. If I was posting in a thread about insults Republicans use, I would be talking about that. There is a phenomenon that has been in play since the 2020 campaign season, in which every thread that gets started about Quid Pro Joe or democrats inevitably sees someone swooping in, usually on the first page, with "but, but, but something about TRUMP!", attempting to deflect attention with attempt to defend.

You’re going to get a but Trump response if you make arguments like you did acting like this is only something the Dems do. If you acknowledge this sos something the right does just as much if not more, then we can have an honest conversation… otherwise don’t pretend like it’s just a dem tactic

Trump has laid out policies and agendas. To be fair he speaks for an hour and a half or so. Perhaps longer. Much of it off the cuff. He has to repeat the same things over because the media/entertainers are 95% Prog controlled. So attacking the Prog politicians has to happen and it is normal. Up to a point. There is so much on the plate to attack Progs with. It is a shame. SNL had so much to work with. From 2020 on as an example. Joe, Kamala, Pelosi alone, Pelosi and her husband, Schumer, AOC is more than skits as she is a TV series. The Progressive African American politicians are fresh material for skits. And there are more. Just lightly touched the source of so much to poke fun at or to e vicious as they are to Republicans. Republicans take the viciousness 24 hours a day on TV. Tougher to win when the entertainment is in the back pocket of the Progressives.

If you want to talk about divisive things all politicians say, start a thread on it and I may contribute. That's it exactly. Donald Trump is a private, non-governmental individual. He is entitled to his own First Amendment right, his own opinions, and is entitled to say anything he wants to. But when someone like Joe Biden, the highest office-holder in the United States, uses the bully-pulpit to vilify half the voters in the country as "garbage", then what he's done has crossed the line into fascism.

If Americans turn a blind eye to something like this, who will be the next group of people he attempts to dehumanize in his Hitler-like manner? Jews? Christians? Rural Americans? Gun owners?

What he said was intolerable. And I have little doubt that Kamala Harris would not also abuse her power, the office of the presidency, and the US Constitution. Her record as Vice President speaks volumes about what kind of President she would be, judging by the fact that she is unable to separate her own policies from those of Joe Biden's.
