I think that many of them are decent people who just want the best for the country, but who have been terribly manipulated since the day Limbaugh went national. Their thought processes have completely calcified into little more than "Good vs. Evil". And yeah, that's a religious component.

So to your point, I keep coming back to the same question: How many of them simply don't understand what they're asking for, and how many of them REALLY DO understand what they're asking for, and want to take this country towards Europe of 90 years ago? I really don't know.
