During COVID there was this elderly overweight asthmatic diabetic man who lived in my neighborhood and still lives there caught COVID two times and survived without any hospitalization before getting the vaccine.

He got 7 and a half years plus 3 years supervised release. I know a couple of guys who took steroids around 40 years ago and they aren't doing that well heath wise now. I don't think it's superior genes, it's hit and miss like smokers. Some get lung cancer and some don't.
