I don't know. Sometimes I think it may be. In this case, if the funny were fact, I believe we would all be better off.

Nowadays, humor towards almost any religion, is a breath of fresh air for some.

Although they may not find the humor in it - knowing it is intended as humor and nothing more is better than the myriad of the same type (or similar) of serious attacks they have been dealing with for years.

The humor for them is when the same social justice warriors who come to the defense of the religious because of a joke of the opposite party - are the same exact people, who a few days earlier, were attacking the same religion - in a much more offensive and serious manner.

The beauty of Catholicism is that we do not judge unless we want to be judged - by the same measure we judge others. The Vatican stood silent over the joke - until now - whether it is real or not does not matter - people can only laugh or remain silent over the returned humor - nothing more, nothing less.

A man walked up to a Franciscan and a Jesuit and asked, "How many novenas would I have to do in order to get a Maserati?"

The Franciscan asked, "What's a Maserati?"

The Jesuit asked, "What's a novena?"

hands down, the u s constitution is the better document than all three desert bibles together or separately.
