Is football too violent for High Schoolers to play

I would contend that due to all the injuries sustained by high schoolers trying to be friday night heroes....clearly demonstrates this extremely violent so called sp;ort should be restricted to adults who have a better ability to understand what could happen.

Is it worth all the life altering injuries sustained by minors to continue allowing football to by played in our High Schools....I think not.....and I was a football player myself and to this day I have back problems because of it.

To go even further I say football should be abolished completely....but there is too much money in it for that to happen. I think the U.S. should replace football with soccer.....where skill not size rules.

I think the spor is fine, but there are safety criteria that need to be implemented, or re-implemented.

When I was in high school there were minimum height and weight requirements to pay football. There should still be. We also need documentation of EVERY injury that causes a player to come off the field or miss a practice.

We also need to engage practice (in both hs and college) of scheduling cupcake opponents who aren’t even on the same universe as the other team.

Those two things would solve a whole host of issues.

No. It's not for everyone, and for some kids who have unknown health issues it can be fatal. I wish there were better soccer leagues when I grew up. We were made to run.

My only question is what kind of outcome was the oversized player really hoping for there? To me, what he did looked like it was personal instead of just another random athletic moment.
