Been dealing with a corporation that recently gave me bad service, and actually they damaged my vehicle.

Anyone else experiencing this type of stuff in the aftermath of dealing with major retail chains offering various non-quality services that is next described below ?

1. Tried to contact corporate in order to give them information about what had happened.

2. During the initial attempt the call was answered after it took over a half hour wait before a so called associate was available to speak with me. I WAITED !!

3. Then the associate told me that I have to go through the store that I dealt with in order to give them a chance to make it right, and then it would submit the claim to corporate on my behalf. Ok I thought !!

4. So I go to the store and look for a manager to speak with. It then takes another 30 minute wait to finally have this lady walk up and say "you need something" ? I said yes mam I do.

5. I then proceeded to tell her what had happened. Then she says to me "OH that's in another department that I don't manage". Wow WTH I thought....

6. Then she takes down my information and says that she will get it to the other manager because he wasn't there today, and that he will contact me the following day when he gets the info I spoke to her about.

7. Day almost gone and no contact as of yet. 😡

8. So I tried calling the store today (the next day), and no one will answer the phone.

Am I becoming the victim of corporate malfecance or am I just being shuffled about in hopes to just wear me out so I'll give up ????

Is this a pattern going on across this nation, otherwise corporations using possibly new corporate tactics to defraud or not stand behind their products and services being offered and given now when they screw up ??

Tried contacting my local chamber of commerce, and even they won't answer their phone these days, uhh well not unless you are one of the chosen one's that they might recognize the phone number when they see it. Other than that we are just peasants who feed the furnaces for them all, otherwise as they sit by the heaters laughing and dwelling on their riches while hindering our everyday lives with their ugliness and greed in which they have in their lives.

No one answers their phones unless you sit for twenty minutes while a computer tells you that you can accomplish world peace by visiting their website. LOL, dealt with that this a.m. After fifteen minutes of that, I repeatedly said "Agent" After fifteen times or so the automated voice actually seemed to get testy with me saying "Alright---I'll connect you with a representative." Five minutes later I finally got a representative who addressed half of my problem before shuffling me to another rep who finished the job. Total time on the phone---one hour seventeen minutes. Good customer service is extinct.

We elected a 34X convicted felon. Its little wonder that wholesale corruption follows

It's all a game of delay and deflect. They hope people will just give up.

Called another number, and of course I get the Indian call center where the rep says ohhh ahuhhhh hmmmm well ughhhh sorry sir but I can't help you with that. Then she gives me some kind of global number to call. Wow !

WTH ?? 🤦‍♂️
 
You waited 30 minutes on the phone?! Unless I can do work on my computer, then I would never wait that long.

If the automated voice does not giving a waiting time or tell me where I am in the cue, then I often put the phone down and do something else. Sometimes I come back and the call is long gone; however, I am surprised at how often I walk back to my desk and hear a voice on the speaker!

You waited 30 minutes in the store?! Why in the world would you do that?

I'll give someone an efficient chance. If they are blowing me off or have their finger up their ass, then I just call the credit card company to contest it. It's always worked out in my favor.

File a complaint against the company on the Better Business Bureau website.

Companies take that seriously, as an unaddressed complaint will lower their BBB Rating.

Every time I've filed a complaint (4 times I think), I've gotten fast and positive response.
 
I guess this situation is what brought about the term MAGA.

I finally went back to the store one more time, and I said to them "hey just refund my money for the labor, and we will call it a day". They agreed and refunded my money for a job that they botched badly. Didn't cover the damaged vehicle part that I had replaced myself already, but at least it was something positive that finally happened after a few weeks or more of attempts to solve the issue.

These things should be simple, but unfortunately we are living in a nation that has been set up to be highly stressful and complicated by design now.

Think about how hard it is these days just to get people to come out to fix anything at your house without trying to break your bank or more shockingly be someone that you can trust ??????? It's truly amazing the times for which we all live in now.

The poor seniors in this country are screwed when it comes to getting good help like it used to be or once upon a time not so long ago. The entire system has been totally and utterly destroyed or turned upside down because of the negative trends and greed that has inundated it or has upset the balances that once produced the proud and honest American worker in it.... Back in the day an American was being raised to be great Americans that cared about their fellow citizen's and their country.

I know these things have changed for the worst, because in my life I was that great helper and worker for the senior citizen's who needed people like me to step up and help them when I was younger. I regret none of it now or back then.

I never was poor (defining poor in no uncertain terms) or never was hungry in my life... I believe it was because I was always willing to go an extra mile to help people in need that needed my skills, otherwise if they were struggling or just couldn't find someone to step up when they needed them too.

I would but it's over now.. Will definitely do it the next time for sure. Just glad I was a former Mechanic.. Old but still know how to judge the quality of work, and look for what went wrong.👍
