As we all know, the George Floyd incident sparked a wide range of support for the Left, is this what we are now witnessing on the right with Charlie?

I think that the George Floyd incident helped solidify the DNC coming into power in 2020.

But there are differences between the two incidents. For example, I don't remember those on the right lighting up social media celebrating the death of George Floyd, nor was George targeted for assassination. His death was an accident.

Nor does it really matter much what the leaders do and say in the DNC regarding this matter because people are being so disgusted with the animal like hate of Charlie after the assassination that they are leaving the party in droves.

The media and DNC that controls them, have been all brought to their knees by one Charlie Kirik as they are now powerless to stop their own demise that they have sown via hateful rhetoric.

And no Leftists, I'm not Hitler, nor am I a racist, homophobic, xenophobic misogynistic Taliban mutant from hell either

Thanks for asking.

Kirk was at least 10,00x the human being Floyd was. It's like comparing a mosquito to a bald eagle.

No. Floyd was not a national figure when he was killed. He became one because of his death and Kirk had no criminal record like Floyd. Nor has there been 3 or days of rioting after Kirk's death.

The pigs didn't kill Charlie
The pigs didn't kill Floyd either.

Ugly boy Floyd overdosed on very dangerous drugs. They couldn't save him this time because nobody would tell the police that Floyd was on fentanyl and meth. They probably could have saved his life again if they knew he was on an opioid.

The power dynamic and race plays a major role in the difference. A cop murdering a black man with a knee to his neck while he tells him he can't breathe also ignited the usual race baiters, ambulance chasers and far-left donors.

Charlie was a well known public figure for years, Floyd was not known until a video caught the knee on his neck.

I will say that right wingers didn't help their cause trying to make excuses about Floyds death, blaming it on drug use. The guy probably used poisons often but he only died when someone restricted the oxygen to his brain and heart. Tucker Carlson really hurt his reputation with this. This may not have been as bad as those celebrating Kirks death, but it was still a bad look,

Ultimately, the media jumped on the Floyd murder to hurt Trump politically. They aren't as eager in this case as there is a clear cultural shift. With the Yankees and NFL having a moment of silence, it is a clear that Americans want their nation back and corporations are looking to appeal to this. A return to Judeo-Christian values and free speech perhaps.

If this assassination had happened in Trumps first term I am willing to bet the response would have been far less honourable, Yankees and NFL would not have acted the same. MSNBC would not have fired an incendiary employee etc.

Perhaps only baby steps, but steps regardless.

To be honest it is Fox News that has sounded more extreme of late, not very sensitive or compassionate, quite a few people of faith I would suggest. It isn't good when either side goes off the rails IMO.

I can see the similarities in influence, despite the vast differences in character. Then again, that also explains why the left and right are so vastly different.

They’re not even remotely similar.

Floyd was the victim of state violence and there was a lot of doubt as to whether his killer would be charged or convicted. Even now, a lot of republicans believe that his murderer was innocent.

No one doubts that Kirk’s killer will be prosecuted to the fullest degree and found guilty.

The cops made some errors, but fentanyl overdose and the angry crowds blocking EMS personnel had more culpability in Floyd's death than the cops.

There was no angry crowd blocking EMS.

Evidence at trial proved the cop was culpable beyond a reasonable doubt.

People celebrated Floyd’s death. Lots of people. I don’t remember anyone trying to get them fired.

The trial itself was kind of a joke. The jury had reasonable concerns for their own safety, and if they had acquitted the cops, they would have faced some serious consequences of their own.

Democrats when a criminal drug addict gets killed...

Dems when a moment of silence is requested for Charlie Kirk....

Are you just making up more lies to justify the murder?

Juries are influenced by the mob justice mentality all the time. It's one of the biggest flaws of our system in general, and heavy media coverage of certain trials will often have this effect.

One of the few upsides to how the British do things is that they heavily limit media coverage of most trials until a verdict is reached, so that the public gets less stirred up about a given case, and jurors feel less pressure.

The top picture is not on the House floor.
The request for a moment of prayer has a prior method of obtaining. Doing an impromptu request is not SOP.
Still very hypocritical... just like phoney democrats... all theatrical BS....

Floyd was a career criminal that the left didn't care diddly squat about. All he accomplished was to give the worst of our society an excuse to riot, vandalize, steal, assault/battery/murder, commit arson, create as much mayhem as they could to hurt President Trump.

They'll tell you it was to protest bad cops. If that was the case they would have been doing their mayhem at police stations instead of terrorizing and devastating those who had nothing whatsoever to do with that.

The Patriots/MAGA/right wing of our society have honored Charlie Kirk with peaceful memorials, tributes and prayer vigils even as the left is doing their damndest to demonize him or any who have admired or appreciated him.

George Floyd should not be included in the same sentence or context with Charlie Kirk. There is zero relationship between the two events or how people have responded to them.

It’s just an excuse you made up. There’s no substance to it. It sounds good enough to let you believe whatever you wanted to believe anyway.
