I must agree it is a very effective deception and when he is hiding behind the Roman Catholic Institution as the Holy Father - the Vicar - the replacement / stand in - Jesus Christ to this world - how much more of a deception is it?

As for demons - yes - there are places demons cannot enter. They cannot enter the home of a born again Christian who walks in obedience to the LORD prays over their house - anointing all the windows and doors with anointing oil and sealing it with the Blood of Jesus Christ. An effective prayer life, praise and worship - the demons cannot enter into such a place. They cannot even come on the property because God will put a wall of fire around you. Ex-satanists, ex-witches have testified to this fact. They cannot touch born again Christians under the Blood of Christ. Those outside the Blood? Are open season - unless someone else is praying over them - for them - standing in the gap. That might be the exception if God were to have mercy on the person living in sin. That would be up to the LORD.

What might be wise to consider is that once a person leaves this earth without Jesus? They will be in hell with demons that they will never be able to get away from. I do not listen to Pat Robertson but I know that there can be curses placed on jewelry, in Africa, various 3rd world nations - there are witch doctors who place curses on various items that tourists will buy - masks, statues, jewelry and a Christian should have no part of owning any of it. The bible does mention clothing that is defiled from sin. I would consider that a confirmation that there could be curses put on pretty much anything. In Hollywood they put curses on the master copy of rock and roll music, rap music and everyone who buys a cd of that music and brings it into their home - gets a free gift - a demon. That is why people should not listen to rock music / rap / heavy metal / not even Christian rock. Anything of that nature should be destroyed - burned. Get it out of your house.

If you are a Christian and ask the LORD if there is anything in your home that should be removed and destroyed - he will be faithful to point it out to you. Just be willing to get rid of anything he asks you to get rid of - be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. He will show you.
