I tend to view ANTIFA in a fairly negative light, also, and yes, they have been connected to violent protest, some antifa, even saying it is necessary to get action. We saw some of this, during the George Floyd riots. I disagree with the tactic. It being a loosely organized national group, some of its actions take place in different states, requiring coordination and travel. Although, hard to point to a membership, as things stand, it might be possible to establish where there are coordinating nodes, attain better surveillance to prevent organized violence, and track the flow of financing, possibly leading to RICO statute violations/prosecution if there is proper investigation. Designation as a terrorist organization, might allow resources to be mobilize for proper investigation. Donny may be right on this one. I definitely cannot say he is wrong on this one. You don't want them coming across country to a town near you.
