Not being on the ground or having personal experience in the Middle East, I can only go by what is being reported. And, while this group is making a big splash, its extremism can only be a detriment with the locals fight back. Sunnis attacking Shi'a is one thing. But Sunni and against Sunni is sure to cause major rebellion.
