This is so backwards. The people who commit voter fraud are supposed to face criminal charges. Those who uncover voter fraud should be thanked.

---Cochise County Supervisors Peggy Judd, 61, and Tom Crosby, 64, each were charged with two felonies: interference with an election officer and conspiracy, according to the indictment.---

They broke the law. You don't understand that?

There was no cheating. They were just being dicks.

They broke the law. Shouldn't lawbreakers be punished?

What happened to "the party of law and order"?

They don't want a certification, they want a rubber stamp.

A certification is an assurance, by an authoritative body or person, that all of the processes and specifications are in compliance with the requirements that are laid out beforehand.

If the certifying body has no authority to deny the certification, it has no function. Just eliminate the board, it serves no purpose.
