That green is a horrible choice of font color. Notice that the yellow at the bottom? Stands out clear against the background. Use that for a font color and darken down the blur.
Lose the bar at the bottom and replace it with a locked header, which will contain your navigation.
Honestly, look at some other sites that cover a wiki.
That background needs to be subdued, may make the transparency at 10 percent. It should not stand out like that. It's why they call it a background.
