"Interstellar" Is The Most Overrated Piece Of Sh*t Movie Of All Time

I actually had a 6 hour flight yesterday. I gave three movies less than 10 minutes each. You don't grab me, at least at some level, in the first ten minutes - I'm not wasting my time.
You must have loved every James Bond movie.

Not my favorite SciFi, but it is a good movie.
The story is good, having a spaceship that can escape a black hole? Well that's a bit unrealistic... but still

Why, oh why are so many people obsessed with this film?

It receives critic/audience accolades alike.

I wasted three hours of a snowy Jan. afternoon on this, and I didn't even have booze.

No character development, everyone whispers annoyingly, it's boring/depressing.

And the ending is fucking laughably, almost comically retarded; with Matthew McConaughey using literal morse code on a wrist watch to communicate with his daughter in an alternate dimension.

Yeah, I'm like 10 years late to the boat.

But now I know why.

Just thought I'd share.

Move along, move along.
Tell us how you really feel! :auiqs.jpg:

The ship didn't escape the black hole. It did, however, manuever thru the wormhole unscathed...
Could be remembering wrong, but I thought they got too close to the black hole and had to accelerate away from it?

I think so. Just seen the movie for the first time when it came out on Netflix.
Other movies have done similar also, it would not be possible unless you had some kind of anti-gravity field. The gravity difference when you get close to a black hole of just a few feet is enough to stretch and liquefy solid titanium a mile thick.
