Here in Ohio NPR did a report on how the fracking waste water injection wells are destroying the nearby oil wells.
Unintended consequences are why science needs to go slow.
Between water and oil wells malfunctioning due to fracking it is time to step back

No, all you need is a good geologist to do the work-up before a fracking project is started.
Thus the point on slowing down the process,
Plus the most important reason to slow down.
“ It’s bewildering that in a world of FINITE resources,
We’ve built an entire economy on INFINITE growth”

How much of those carcinogenic compounds leaks into well water? Thats another issue. Perhaps no fracking within 25 miles of any town?

Yea but I’d rather zero fracking at this time. The concept of putting rock eating chemicals into the foundation of our world stricken me as the most stupid act possible. Imagine hiring people to daily go into your house hit the walls with a sledgehammer and pee on the way out. Seams to me to be what these fracking companies are doing

In terms of oil output, ohio is probably better off fracking than traditional drilling. As for the environment, well there is no shock there fracking is bad. I do, however, wonder what about the water spoils traditional wells. I mean we use water to float the oil up from the salt caverns in which the strategic reserve is stored and pump it out when we are refilling them.
