States are starting to create laws that make it easier to remove judges who give a slap on the wrist to criminals.

These criminal judges are the primary reason for the massive increase in violent crime.

These liberal activist judges are sentencing the victims and letting out repeat offenders.

The only way I see that working is to go back to mandatory sentencing.

That way it takes care of both Judges and more importantly prosecutors who let perps plead down.
Maybe so, but that doesn't prevent activist judges from issuing insane court orders from the bench.

They have to be able to get rid of these criminals whenever possible.

If plea deals were stopped, your case would be scheduled for eleven years from now.

This proposed law covers state and local judges

Which is a step on the right direction

We also need to remove federal judges who issue rulings willy-nilly that are later overturned by a higher court

They should be removed for abuse of power

My question is does the Supreme Court have the ability to do that, or is it only impeachment that can remove sitting District Court Judges?

No, but bail gets denied for serious offenses all of the time.
Meh, better build more prison/jail bedspace then. Better yet, just rejuvenate the empty prisons all states have.

Hell a 400 man level 3 (lower-medium security) unit I used to work at has sat empty for near 15 years. The state just runs cattle on the land now.

A 400 bed juvenile unit sits empty in my extended AO. It could easily be converted to house jailbirds awaiting trial.

How much should I sue for if I wait in lockup for 4 years, then the jury acquits me? The whole US court system knows that plea bargains are best. Otherwise the court docket gets too backed up.

In most states you can't sue for that.

Well I guess you can sue but it will get tossed.

Theater for ignorant rubes.

They could set the sentencing guidelines themselves. Same for bail guidelines.

But that isnt actually what they care about. This is theater for white wing idiots.
