In Casino, anyone else ever thought it was intentional to have the man who played Billy Batts in Goodfellas (Frank Vincent) whack Nicky (Joe Pesci)?

I only saw Casino in it's entirety once, it is grossly inferior to Goodfellas in my opinion.

Regardless, remembering the scene where Nicky, played by Joe Pesci is getting whacked, I had to laugh a bit at the fact that Frank Vincent (RIP) finally got his revenge, with a bat; after he played Billy Batts in Goodfellas. He returned the favour I guess.

"It was revenge for Billy Batts, and alot of other things".

I think you mean "in Good Fellas".

I always thought the same. Jimmy and Henry were accomplices but were spared.

Perhaps because in real life it was primarily Tommys act, and/or, the other two just helped with the clean up which may have just been considered being noble, loyal friends as anyone should be.

It was always the gaping hole for me in that movie among a couple of others. It was based on the book Wiseguys, which was a true story so it is presumably accurate.
