Perhaps no deceased NFL player is mentioned more often than Pat Tillman except maybe for Walter Payton whom the NFL named man of the year.

That being said...you would think that the NFL would have a "courage" award they would bestow to a player who overcame some profound adversity to play in the league...not an annual award but something. Tillman's name would fit well on that trophy.
