This is the third officer in 24 hours to die from assaults on duty.
This one is a bit different. This brave 27 year police veteran was attacked by an UNARMED scumbag. He was thrown to the ground and assaulted.
He suffered a significant brain injury. Surgeries failed. He ended up a paraplegic and died from complications after years of suffering.
But hey...at least he didnt shoot the thug right?
