When people know that they have no way to defend whoever they normally defend, they are usually pretty quiet and actually vice versa. As far as I know, the Dixie Chicks have not said one thing about Toby Keith since it was announced that he had cancer back in 2022. They didn't gloat, say that they were sorry to hear of such news, not a thing out of them.
