When I was a kid there was an NYPD swat raid on a house down the block. It was an illegal Chinese migrant smuggling "safe house"

I was on the porch, and then proceeded right into the house. Smartest thing to do.

Yes, when I was in Cali about once a month there were drug raids in the apartments complex or multi PoPo running in, in pursuit of a suspect. Got used to it, but the police helicopter circling was always a pain in the ass. They are LOUD.

Well, first, I'd be armed because the cockroaches would be running away from the agents, screaming and swearing and making a scene and tearing up property. And they might just get a little too close for their own good.
Then, yeah, I'd offer the agents whatever they needed or wanted and I'd let 'em know I'm on their side, not the side of the illegal aliens and gang members and Communists.

While it's unlikely ICE would come out here where I live, simply because there is nobody around. My property is fenced and gated two miles from my house. There is a sign on all of the three gates that says "law enforcement authorized for access at all times". However, I might not even know they are there if they don't cross my gate.
That said, there have been times in the past where law enforcement or the military showed up out here. Like the signs say, law enforcement has access, if it can wait for them to call the number on the sign, I'll unlock it for them.
When that infamous "jade helm" war games thing was going on, I hoisted the US flag at all my gates and at the house. I went and found some of them and gave them a signed letter granting access to the property.

Ditto. They have no reason to even come to my neighborhood. The closest illegal enclave is nearly 200 miles from me.
