Where do most TV viewers go? Netflix? HBO? Is network TV like ABC and CBS still a thing?

If the government wanted to get people excited for space again where would they put a space show? Would hardcore sci fi like Star Trek be too weird for the general audience? Would it have to be a realistic astronaut show?
