I dont need to have stepped on their land to be knowledgeable about what is going on there.

I have been to Japan three times. Twice (1966-67) on R&R while I was a soldier in Vietnam and once as civilian in 1979. I understand and respect their culture and I do not begrudge them for not allowing "whitey" stay at specific hotels in their country. But they really are racists deep in their bones and if you travel there you can feel it by the way they look at you and by the way they treat you.
