Idlib caliphate rebels wage an offensive against Syrian army

It seems the Assad regime is in big troubles again.

It seems the Assad regime is in big troubles again.

I imagine it is proceeding entirely to script and exactly as I forecast nearly 14 months ago .

Russia will now aim to obliterate all of the illegal US bases in Syria -- thanks US for giving the predicted pretext for this .

If the US is stupid enough not to see the ploy, it will publicly over commit and destroy itself .

Will that lead to internal chaos inside America or renewed effort to ruin Nazisrael ?
Or both ?

Love watching the US never ever learn from its blunders .

Yeah, sure. Anti-Assad islamist fighters taking over the second largest city is a cunning ploy of chess master Putin.

Syrian Army:

"The General Command of the regular army reported that a redeployment operation was carried out in Aleppo aimed at absorbing the attack of the armed opposition, and recognized the latter's control over large areas of the city.

The General Command said in a statement that "during the past days, the armed terrorist organizations affiliated with the so-called Al-Nusra Front, supported by thousands of foreign terrorists, heavy weapons and large numbers of drones, launched a large-scale attack from multiple axes on the fronts of Aleppo and Idlib," adding that "our armed forces fought fierce battles against them in various points of engagement extending over a strip exceeding 100 km to stop their advance, and dozens of men of our armed forces rose during the battles as martyrs and others were wounded."

"The large number of terrorists and the multiplicity of fronts prompted our armed forces to carry out a redeployment operation aimed at strengthening the defense lines in order to absorb the attack, preserve the lives of civilians and soldiers, and prepare for a counterattack," the statement said.

"With the continued flow of terrorists across the northern border and the intensification of military and technical support for them, terrorist organizations were able during the past hours to enter large parts of the neighborhoods of Aleppo city without being able to establish their positions due to the continued targeting of our armed forces to concentrated and strong strikes, pending the completion of the arrival of military reinforcements and their distribution to the fighting axes in preparation for a counterattack," the statement said.

The statement concluded by saying that "the General Command of the Army and the Armed Forces confirms that this measure taken is a temporary measure and will work by all possible means to ensure the security and safety of our people in the city of Aleppo, and will continue its operations and carry out its national duty in confronting terrorist organizations to expel them and restore the control of the state and its institutions over the entire city and its countryside.""

SDF:

"Local newspaper Al-Watan reported Saturday that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have expanded their control over a number of Aleppo neighborhoods, down to Nubl and Zahra, pointing to a large movement of displacement from the city.

The newspaper, quoting civil sources, said that "the SDF took control of the neighborhoods of Al-Halak Al-Fawqani, the neighborhood of Bustan Pasha, Ashrafieh, Al-Syrian, the industrial district in the city of Aleppo, some areas of the northern countryside, up to the towns of Nubl and Zahra.

The newspaper added that "the SDF forces expanded their control east of the city of Aleppo and took control of Aleppo International Airport and the towns of Deir Hafer, Tal Aran and Tal Hasel."

The newspaper pointed to the continued large displacement movement witnessed in the areas of Aleppo through the Khanaser - Athriya road, which caused a suffocating traffic crisis on the road.

The SDF's moves come after the armed opposition took control of the western countryside of Aleppo and large areas of Aleppo city."

IDF:

"He wrote: "As far as Israel is concerned, this is ostensibly good news. The fall of northern Syria to the rebels damages the infrastructure of the Iranians and Hezbollah there, and will make it difficult for them to act to rebuild Hezbollah. A defensive Assad will be more stressful, and when he fights for the survival of his regime, ostensibly helping Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon is a secondary interest. Israel's freedom of action in Syria is likely to expand."
Rakov added: "At the same time, it is possible that the precarious internal situation in Syria will cause Assad and the Russians to open stronger gates for the entry of Iranian military forces. There will be those in Israel who will be enthusiastic about the burning of the Palestinian flag by HTS fighters, but the scenario of the collapse of the Assad regime could create a space without addresses, which, along with its weakness, could be fertile ground for the growth of significant military threats for Israel. In the end, HTS has its roots in Al-Qaeda.""

"The statement added that "during the past 24 hours, the targeting carried out by the Syrian Arab Army in cooperation with friendly Russian forces operating in Syria continued through concentrated air, missile and artillery strikes on the terrorists' positions, warehouses, supply lines and axes of movement in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib, which resulted in the destruction of 5 command headquarters and 7 ammunition depots and various weapons, some of which contain drones."

"The precision strikes launched by our armed forces in cooperation with friendly Russian forces led to the elimination of more than 400 terrorists, including multiple foreign nationalities, during the past hours," the statement said."

"The General Command of the regular army announced on Wednesday the lifting of the siege imposed by the militants on the officers and students of the Assad Academy for Military Engineering in Aleppo and their arrival in the city of Homs.

The General Command said in a statement that "after the legendary combat stability of the heroic students and righteous officers from the Assad Academy for Military Engineering in Aleppo, and the desperate defense of the Academy from the first moment of the terrorist attack on the city of Aleppo, and their courage and courage repelled the violent attacks carried out by the terrorists to storm the Academy with various types of medium and heavy weapons and advanced drones, then their exit to the town of Al-Waha in the Safira area and surrounded them again by groups of terrorists who trickled from the axes, armed with heavy vehicles. "From tanks, artillery, machine guns and drones, students and officers were able to withstand the terrorists, resulting in a number of them being martyrs and others wounded."

The statement added that "through joint Syrian-Russian, military-political coordination, the siege imposed by these terrorist organizations was lifted, and the exit of the academy students and their safe arrival to the city of Homs was secured, so that the necessary care and medical treatment could be provided to the injured and wounded.""

Meanwhile the army launched a counter offensive in Hama:

"In Syria, government troops have launched a counter-offensive against the jihadist insurgents. The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports that the army has pushed the insurgents back about ten kilometers near the city of Hama."

SDF gangster squads supported by US aircraft failed to capture any of the seven villages and towns northeast of Deir Ezzor they attacked.

"In the context, army units repelled yesterday morning an attack by the "Deir Ezzor Military Council" of the SDF on the liberated villages in the Al-Jazeera area in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, before renewed clashes in the evening on the axis of the town of Tabia Jazeera with the intervention of the US occupation aircraft, which targeted contact points in the region.

Field sources told Al-Watan that the US occupation forces instructed the STC militants to start attacking the positions of the Syrian Arab Army in the seven villages in Deir Ezzor countryside in conjunction with the attack carried out by Al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations on Aleppo, Idlib countryside and Hama countryside.

The sources confirmed the failure of the two attacks launched by the SDF militias on the seven villages in Deir Ezzor, noting that the second attack recorded direct intervention and support by the US occupation aircraft, and continued: There is no validity to targeting the bridge connecting the Al-Huwaiqa neighborhood with the villages and safe towns northeast of Deir Ezzor and the bridge is working normally, noting that life has returned to normal in the seven villages that SDF militants tried to control, indicating that the tribes and residents of towns and villages that were attacked by SDF militants with the support of The American occupation, stood side by side with the Syrian Arab Army to repel the aggression."

"The armed opposition announced on Thursday its entry into the city of Hama and the central prison, after battles with the regular army, while the regime announced that its forces withdrew from the city and redeployed outside.

According to opposition sources on social media, the armed opposition factions entered several neighborhoods in the city of Hama, in addition to the "Hama Central Prison" and freed hundreds of prisoners.

For its part, the Ministry of Defense announced in a statement, through its page in "Facebook", that the regular forces redeployed and positioned" outside the city of Hama, "in order to preserve the lives of civilians from the people, and not to involve them in battles inside cities."

The ministry added that the armed groups were able to penetrate several axes in the city of Hama and enter it, with the intensification of battles."

The Americans should have been wiped out in Syria years ago they are illegal occupiers stealing oil.

What happened to Iran in Syria will happen in Iraq as well. :)
