Surely you agree then that the "EMT's" violated their oaths of care for all in need by denying aid for injured ICE agents.
Even during WWII Soldiers on both sides of the war offered and gave aid to wounded on both sides. The exception was Japanese soldiers when encountering wounded U.S. soldiers.
They have not, yet, at least as far as I know. I suspect they are still rolling the dice, hoping not to encounter one of the newly hired, signing bonus officers, that would threaten them. I am sure there are bad ICE agents, just as on occasion there are bad cops. All you can do is hope for the best, but what you get is what you get. If these guys usually operate "weapons loose", they could actually shoot somebody by mistake, such as an EMT answering a call. Anytime, you point a weapon at somebody, or have one pointed at you, it is a very dangerous situation, and mistakes have happened, before, and people have died. If they actually shoot some EMT, called to their operational area, it is hardly assured, another EMT will purposely put himself in jeopardy. This would be a case, where Trump might be justified, mobilizing medic/medivac guard unit to go with their mass deportation operations in specific cities, as they are even better trained and with more resources than you average ambulance driver. I know, I would trust any Army/NG Medic that ever assisted me or rendered emergency care to my men, more that your average ambulance driver. Being in military uniform, might be a signal to less restrained ICE idiots, they are dealing with a friendly, listed in their operations order, they definitely do not wish to shoot, as they are known to be on their side. Hopefully, ICE will sort out it's poorly trained officers, to insure, none are stupid enough to draw down on an ambulance driver in the middle of treatment or transport of an injured party, be it civilian or government masked thug.
