In a Republic, actually
‘A federal judge in Maine has ordered the Trump administration to "immediately" release a Chinese man who was detained by immigration agents after trying to stop someone from committing suicide. The 13-page order comes as another in a long line of district court cases rejecting outright controversial efforts to reshape how Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) classifies immigrants in order to detain them.’

The lawless Trump regime has again violated an immigrant’s right to due process.

The immigrant has a pending asylum claim, which means he may remain in the country absent detention until a determination is made.

The Trump immigration agenda is motivated by racism, bigoty, and hate.

Too bad. SCOTUS has upheld the President can deport illegals.

Rogue judges do not trump SCOTUS or the President.

Give him a good Samaritan badge.....then deport him
No one is above the law

So if you rob a bank and stop to save someone's life during your getaway, get caught, then I would not expect a mulligan would be given for the bank robbery since you did a good deed.

Question: If Jeffrey Dahmer called 9/11 to help one of his victims should he not be arrested for cannibalism? A law breaker is a law breaker and all law breakers should be apprehended regardless of the circumstances.

Except that’s not anywhere near close to what this is about

He had a pending asylum claim. Which means he was not to be deported
