The reality, Fuckwad, is that we REALLY DO NEED IMMIGRANTS. Like most First World Peoples, Americans are not reproducing at replacement rates. The fertility rate is only 1.66 per woman, and it would be lower if you took out minorities and immigrants. This is not sustainable, especially with Baby Boomers hitting retirement.

We should take the same stance as China, only take in the best, and pay bonuses for coming to China. China doesn't want you if you can't produce.

You can't be serious that the reason the US needs immigrants is because we are not reproducing. Jesus Christ, are you serious? What,, did you hear from Slick Willy himself, Bill Clinton. But even if it comes from his mouth, Good ol' Bill said they must be 'vetted'. We have immigration policies. And most Americans want those policies to be enforced. Come in, go through the process of obtaining whatever the US needs to ensure that you're not a criminal, not a returning criminal, that you can work, that you are who you say you are.

Wide open borders, is NOT what most common sense Americans want.

Actually, China is loosening its immigration rules thanks to the stupidity that was the One Child Policy. A big area of growth for them has been marriage brokers because there aren't enough females to go around for all the males.

here's the reality. Americans women have a fertility rate of 1.66 per woman (and that number is inflated by immigrant women). A healthy replacement rate is 2.03 per woman. That's just to sustain, not to grow.

As boomers age out of the workforce, someone has to replace us.

The only reason our population is growing is because of immigration. Most of Western Europe, Japan, and S. Korea are shrinking in population despite enhanced life expectencies.

Nobody ever advocated that, so good. The problem is, the barriers you guys put up to legal immigration have caused illegal immigration.

Except they really weren't. Most people who showed up at the border were sent back. Some who had valid asylum claims were released.

Naw, man, I'm very pro-immigration for a sensible reason. My father was an immigrant, my wife is an immigrant.
