And this is what it looked like to me.

Has MLB turned into a gladiator sport with the big money teams completely dominating the other with LA spending $500 million more on their team than their opponent?

The Dodgers have made the post season the last 13 seasons. How hard is it in that time to simply find and pay the best players you can, and then keep adding to the team until you get this monolithic super team that destroys everything in their path?

Conversely, I watched a little of the Yankees/Boston game, and at the end of the game I witnessed Aroldos Chapman, their closer, dominate the Yankees like he did a decade ago as a Red. The Reds had to get rid of this great young talent because they could no longer afford him. And I got to thinking, this is just plain nuts and silly.

simple fix votto.....dont watch mlb ......
Will MLB be OK without viewership of small market teams?

I think so, since they sell more soap with the larger market teams.

They simply don't need fans like me, do they.

Bench highest salary was 900k. someone over at arfcom said the Reds have a $67.11 payroll LOL
Bob Castelini is not real popular in Cincy

It's not just the Dreds.

Look at any small market ball club that are all in the same boat.

The movie "Moneyball" addresses the problem of no salary cap in baseball, something the NFL fixed by having a salary cap.

I boycott all pro-sports.
:yes_text12::TH_WAY~113:

good man Mack The Finger .

same here. with the exception of the chiefs because Mahomes is the most exciting quarterback to watch sense john elway, otherwise i would have ZERO to do with the corrupt NFL cartel.

oh and just so everybody knows,i ONLY watch it at my local sports bar, if i dont go down there and not watch it,its not going to stop the place from showing it to all its customers right?

Its not like i can get every sports bar to stop televising the NFL as i would like to.

if people like smellbozo "THANK GOD FOR THE IGNORE LIST." needs proof that other than the chiefs, the ONLY time i watch the NFL is to watch the classic games from the 70's and 80's when the game was not corrupt as it is now, here ya go.

When a team with less of a payroll defeats a larger payroll team in playoffs or to get into the playoffs that is a disgrace to the larger market team who loses. The sport of baseball lost its way even though the seats are full in competitive cities.

NFL kneeling so many guys were here saying thats it no more NFL for me....

It all started when I turned ESPN on and there were 5 black guys talking about racism and it had nothing to do with sports. From there I started noticing little things where the Pro's were trying to make me think things about how I should live my life.
