And this is what it looked like to me.
Has MLB turned into a gladiator sport with the big money teams completely dominating the other with LA spending $500 million more on their team than their opponent?
The Dodgers have made the post season the last 13 seasons. How hard is it in that time to simply find and pay the best players you can, and then keep adding to the team until you get this monolithic super team that destroys everything in their path?
Conversely, I watched a little of the Yankees/Boston game, and at the end of the game I witnessed Aroldos Chapman, their closer, dominate the Yankees like he did a decade ago as a Red. The Reds had to get rid of this great young talent because they could no longer afford him. And I got to thinking, this is just plain nuts and silly.
